"You have reached the web site of Paul "the Butcher" Vachon.  Former World Tag-Team Wrestling Champion along with my brother Maurice "the Mad Dog" Vachon. I am also the proud parent of the eccentric lady wrestler, Luna Vachon. I was also inducted into the most prestigious and exclusive sports hall of fame of them all, the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame, in Amsterdam New York, Tony Vallano President. Having been raised (along with twelve other siblings) on a Canadian dairy farm I decided at an early age that to escape the drudgery of that life I would become a Professional Wrestler and travel the world. That was my dream.

At the tender age of seventeen I won a silver medal in the Canadian Amateur Wrestling Championship being held that year in Regina, Saskatchewan. After that I turned Pro and made my dream come true. I took part in over 6,000 wrestling matches in 33 different countries. I also traveled 8 million miles on 5 Continents. I also became a wrestling promoter and was the first one to introduce to the North American Wrestling World, Andre Roussinoff, AKA "Andre the Giant". I am proud to say he became "My Friend". I have written all of this Life into a Trilogy of Books called "When Wrestling Was Real". Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed living it."
